NAUGATUCK — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect and his accomplice in a car theft.

A white Infinity, which was left running, was stolen from the Xpress Fuel gas station at 620 North Church St. on April 30. The car was later found in Waterbury, according to police.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect appears to be a light-skinned Hispanic or black man in a Miami Heat sweatshirt and dark sweatpants, police said. The man, police said, was driven to the gas station in a Hyundai SUV that could possibly be green.

Police are looking to identify the man and the driver of the SUV. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Det. Paul Markette at 203-720-2584 or pmarkette@naugatuckpd.org.
