Mark J. Roberge

WATERBURY — Mark J. Roberge, 45, husband of Leny (Sangalang) Roberge, passed away of Monday, May 29, 2017.

He was born in Waterbury on July 23, 1971, son of John J. Roberge and Angela (Rotella) Roberge of Waterbury. Mark lived most of his life in Waterbury and attended local schools. He was most recently employed by Napoli Kia in Milford and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Besides his wife, Leny, and his parents, Mark leaves his children, John Jacob Roberge of Waterbury, Jordan Leigh-Ann Roberge of Massachusetts and Mason Roberge of Huntsville, Ala.; his brother, Michael Roberge and his partner, Talita Odisi, of Shelton; his sister, Melissa Medeiros and her husband, David, of Watertown; and five nieces and nephews.

Mark will be missed for his big smile, big personality and even bigger heart. Even if there were only one shirt in his wardrobe, he would eagerly give it to anyone who was in need. He was a die-hard Yankee fan and also known as ‘Kingfish,” a nickname he had earned in his early childhood. He traveled the world for his country, but always did so with a fishing pole in tow. Family and friends will miss his kind spirit, his altruism and always hold him dear in their hearts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 182 Robbins St., Waterbury. Those attending are asked to please meet at the church at 9:45 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, East Main Street, Waterbury.
