Land Trust to hold annual meeting

PROSPECT — The 23rd annual dinner meeting of the Prospect Land Trust is set for May 7 at the firehouse, 26 New Haven Road.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a meet and greet with the Rev. Boardman Kathan, who recently wrote “My Prospects: Growing Up and Growing Old in a Small Connecticut Town.” Kathan will be joined in an interview format by Lisa SanSoucie, a Land Trust member and information manager.

The cost of the dinner is $25. Those who sign up will have a pre-sale opportunity to buy the book at a discount of $13. Books not purchased as part of the pre-sale will be available for $20. Proceeds from the book are going to the E. Irene Boardman Foundation and will be used as a scholarship award for a woman going back to school later in life.

Reservations for the dinner and orders for the book should be sent by the end of April. Reservations can be made by mailing a check for $25 per person attending to: Prospect Land Trust, P.O.
