Joyce (Ardry) Luzio, who married Manny Luzio in 1970 and has two daughters and two grandsons, worked for Alliant Insurance Services in Cheshire for 33 years before retiring in 2013. She is an active parishioner of St. Francis Church and is currently Pastoral Council secretary, Liturgy Committee secretary and a team leader for the Hospitality Committee.

She was a Eucharistic Minister for many years and served in the CCD program as a teacher, advisor and director for more than 30 years.

On Sunday, Joyce and Manny Luzio will receive The St. Joseph Medal of Appreciation from the Archdiocese of Hartford in recognition of their many years of service to their parish.
