Estelle B. Stevenson

WATERBURY — Estelle B. Stevenson, award-winning real estate agent, active volunteer with Boy Scout Troop 3 and Cub Scout Pack 39, as well as Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and bingo hall, longtime promoter of constitutional preservation, and devoted mother and grandmother, died peacefully on Jan. 16, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Born in Waterbury, Estelle graduated high school in Florida and received her Bachelor of Arts from Georgian Court College in New Jersey. She worked for Beazley Realtors as a manager, as well as Berkshire Hathaway New England Properties. She also founded We the People, Inc. and was a wonderfully devoted mother and grandmother, who loved her grandchildren more than life itself.

Estelle is survived by her daughter, Stella Cerullo and her husband, John; her daughter, Deborah Parenti; her sister, Deborah G. Stevenson; her grandchildren, John Paul, Andrew, Corinna and Regina, and her nieces, Samantha and Cassandra.

A life celebration gathering will be held at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m., where family and friends are invited to share remembrances of Estelle at 2 p.m. Burial will be private.

No one has even liked this besides me even though this has been here for 2 years. so I’m leaving something so this doesn’t go completely unnoticed. two years later and I still miss you greatly. you’ve done so much for me and I feel like I haven’t done enough for you even now. I wish I could have done better and could have done more for you in the past and I just hope I don’t disappoint you with wherever I end up in the future. I love you and miss you, grandma
