NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Mona M. (Kelley) Ginn, 98, of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017 at the Beacon Brook Health Care Center in Naugatuck. She was the widow of Wilmer Ginn.
Mrs. Ginn was born Aug. 10, 1918 in Fort Fairfield, Maine, daughter of the late Patrick and Verna (Giggey) Kelley. She was an avid square dancer and was a past member of the VFW Ladies Auxilliary.
Mrs. Ginn is survived by two daughters, Karol Mooney and her husband, Robert, of Tallahassee, Fla., and Gloria Spino and her husband, Joseph, of Oakville; three sons, Roger Ginn of Plant City, Fla., Dale Ginn and his wife, Phyllis, of Kissimmee, Fla., and Eugene Rice and his wife, Elizabeth, of Naugatuck; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Monday, Jan. 23 from 9:30 to 10: 30 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main St. South, Southbury. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Naugatuck.
