Obituary: Paul R. Karl Jr.

NEW HAVEN — Paul R. Karl, Jr., 49, of Beacon Falls, beloved husband of Renee (Raino) Karl, entered peaceful rest on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016 in Yale New Haven Hospital.

Born in Stamford on Feb. 21, 1967, he was a son of the late Paul R. Karl, Sr. and Margaret (Morin) Karl of Trumbull. A wonderful attorney, Paul was also a proud volunteer fireman as well as an EMT in New Canaan. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, an Eagle Scout, enjoyed softball, baseball, NASCAR, and golf, and was a fan of the NY Yankees as well as the NY Jets.

In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include his adored son, Paul R. Karl, III; sister, Anne Whiteside and her husband, Robert, of Trumbull; father and mother-in-law, William “Pop” and Kathleen Raino of Seymour; brothers-in-law, William Raino III and his wife, Deyanira, of Nevada, and Scott Raino and his wife, Christy, of Nevada; sister-in-law, Robin Diamond and her husband, Brian, of Trumbull; nieces and nephew, Nicole, Sarah, Cailey, Megan, Bethany, and Jonathan. His many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as all of his loving pets.

A memorial service in his honor will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. in St. Michael Church, 25 Maple Ave., Beacon Falls. There are no calling hours and interment will be at the convenience of the family. The Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St., Seymour has been entrusted with his arrangements.
