WATERBURY — Edward M. Dubinsky, 71, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Dubinsky was born in Waterbury, on Nov. 12, 1945, son of the late Alexander J. and Miriam (Zembruski) Dubinsky. A lifelong resident of Waterbury, Edward retired as a police officer from the City of Waterbury after 25 years of dedicated service. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He was a life member of the VFW in Wolcott, and he enjoyed traveling and trips to the casino.
Edward is survived by his son, Edward A. Dubinsky and his wife, Dawn, of Wolcott; his daughter, Carol Holznagel and her husband, Carl, of Meriden; his three grandchildren, Kelsi Keaveney, Randy Dubinsky, and Craig Keaveney; his great-granddaughter Kenzie; and several cousins.
His funeral will be held on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Calvary Cemetery, East Main Street, Waterbury. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
