NAUGATUCK — The Subway restaurant on Old Waterbury Road, also known as South Main Street, was robbed Monday night.
The sandwich shop was robbed at about 6 p.m. by a lone black man wearing dark clothing and a mask, according to a description released by police.
When reached Tuesday morning, Naugatuck police spokesman Lt. Bryan Cammarata said no one was injured during the robbery. He said the robbery is actively under investigation and police are not immediately releasing any further details.
