NAUGATUCK — Police are seeking help from the public to identify the suspect or suspects in a series of car break-ins.

A work van at Reliable Pools at 600 Prospect St. was broken into on Sunday at about 1:40 p.m. and tools were stolen, police said. Surveillance video shows the suspect or suspects were driving a white Ford “Window” van.

Police said there have been several car break-ins over the past few weeks. It’s unknown if they are related. However, police believe the van is the same one that was used during car break-ins at Oliver’s Market and Hotchkiss Park off of Route 69 in Prospect on Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday 10/30/16 at about 1:40 Pm Reliable Pools of 600 Prospect Street Naugatuck had a work van broken into and tools stolen. The suspect(s) were driving a white Ford "Window" van which can be seen in this security video. If anyone has information on this suspect vehicle or this incident in general they ate urged to contact the Naugatuck PD at 203-729-5221 or the NPD Confidential Tip Line at 203-720-1010.
