Letter: Big banks have big problems

To the editor,

The stage coach bank isn’t the only one that should be putting their customers’ interest first, communicating, being transparent and fixing the wrongs. There is definitely another one that I know that doesn’t live up to the above standards. They are supposed to be the most convenient bank and bend over backwards for their customers. They also advertise what great customer service and they also have a robot.

I am 75 years old and I don’t need the kind of great service that they gave me or treatment that they provided. I opened my first bank accounts in 1959 and never have had any problem, like I have had to go through with them. I have been in contact with Senator Blumenthal in Connecticut and also sent information to Senator Warren in Massachusetts. This problem started in Massachusetts, and I watched what a great job Senator Warren did at the bank hearings.

There wouldn’t be enough ink in five pens to explain what has been going on with this bank. This all came to ahead on April 8, 2016 and is still an ongoing problem. So if you are in need of a new bank I would recommend one of the smaller local banks, like I have now.
