NAUGATUCK — The Board of Education has gone paperless.

The board in September began using BoardDocs, an online program that allows officials to make meeting agendas and supporting documents available online instead of printing, binding, and distributing paper agenda packets, the board announced in a press release.

Agendas for board meetings and the supporting documents are available on the board’s website, www.naugatuck.k12.ct.us, prior to meetings for the public to review. After meetings, the public can see action details with voting results.

The board will also use the program to publish its policies and procedures online, the release stated.
