PROSPECT — Mirabelle’s Italian Restaurant is working together with the Office of Radio & Television to raise funds to support relief efforts in Amatrice, Italy, a town that suffered significant casualties and damage from a devastating earthquake in August.
The Office of Radio & Television, an affiliated corporation of the Archdiocese of Hartford with studios in Prospect, is collecting donations to support the relief effort. Mirabelle’s is pitching in by offering a special entrée, spaghetti all’Amatriciana, throughout September.
Spaghetti all’Amatriciana is a dish that originated in Amatrice, according to ORTV’s website. Mirabelle’s, located 50 Waterbury Road, is selling the entrée for $20 and for each dish ordered the restaurant will donate $10 to aid relief efforts.
