CLINTON — A 56-year-old Naugatuck man was killed Thursday afternoon in a motorcycle accident on I-95 North.
State police said Glenn Papoun, of 17 Cardinal Lane, Naugatuck, was riding a 2001 Harley Davidson FXSTDI in the right lane of the highway just north of Exit 62 at about 1:30 p.m. when he started to heavily brake, veered off the road and struck the guardrail. Papoun was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries at the scene, police said.
