Prospect Library announces August exhibit

PROSPECT — The Prospect Library will display the art of Gail Streigle throughout August.

Streigle studied graphic design and illustration at the New England School of Art in Boston and at the Paier School of Art in Hamden, a press release stated. She has done illustration for magazines and has designed calendars and greeting cards for Derbyshire publishing.

Streigle is a long-time contributor to a local library children’s departments where she turns pumpkins and gourds into wizards, dragons and storybook characters for display every autumn, the release stated.

The exhibit can be viewed at the library, 17 Center St., Prospect during regular hours. For more information, call 203-758-3001.
