BEACON FALLS — The 18th annual River Festival and Duck Race was held May 14 in Beacon Falls.
The day started with the inaugural Jill’s Race for MS. The race was held in honor of former Beacon Falls resident Jill Betkoski, who had multiple sclerosis and died 10 years ago at the age of 48. The money raised from the race was donated to the Connecticut Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The day was capped with the Lions Club’s annual duck race.
