BEACON FALLS — Registration for the Beacon Falls Library’s online summer reading program begins May 31.

The program is run in collaboration with the Governor’s Summer Reading Challenge and the Region 16 school district, which oversees schools in Beacon Falls and Prospect.

Children from preschool through 12th grade are invited to record the titles of books read during the summer and complete challenges to earn chances for prizes at the library.

Students in preschool through fifth grade will earn a chance to win prizes displayed in the library for every hour they read. Middle school and high school students earn chances to win gift cards donated by the Friends of Beacon Falls Library.

For more information, call the library at 203-729-1441 or visit mybflib.org.
