Letter: Ignoring bridge deterioration appalling

To the editor,

I just caught up with your news of Friday, April 29 about the General Tadeusz Kosciuszko Bridge, and find, in this day and age, the neglect of supervisors to ignore any sign of deteriorating on bridges and such, I find it appalling.

We pay enough taxes to help to have cash for such things. Who the hell in the town counsels or government is wasting our hard-earned tax dollars? Why don’t they inspect these structures every couple of years?

Must they have to wait until they collapse, then have countless lawsuits pending.

I say stop wasting our tax dollars. Can’t you see how the Common Joe can only take so much and then all hell breaks loose?
