PROSPECT — Mr. Rudolph Thibodeau, 89, of Prospect, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 25, 2016. He was the widower of Lorene (Pelletier) Thibodeau.

Rudolph was born on Nov. 8, 1926, in St. Francis, Maine, a son of the late Fabian and Leda Thibodeau. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the USS Corregedor in the Asiatic Pacific area.

Rudolph retired from Pratt and Whitney after many years working on jet engines. He was a member of the Prospect VFW Post 8075 and enjoyed cutting and splitting wood.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda Shettsline and her husband Vincent of New Ringgold, Pa.; two sons, Carroll David Thibodeau of New Ringgold, Pa., and Scott Thibodeau; and one granddaughter, Nikki Walsh. He was predeceased by his son, Rudy Thibodeau.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Prospect Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be held prior to the service at Prospect Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
