PROSPECT — Judith Rosalyn George, 75, of Prospect, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Autumn Lake Health Care Center in Waterbury.
Judy was born in Waterbury on Aug. 20, 1940, a daughter of the late Henry and Lena (DiSapio) George. She was a graduate of Quinnipiac University and received her master’s degree from the Hartford Grad Center affiliate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, retired as the Radiation Therapy Department Manager at St. Mary’s Hospital and also previously managed the outpatient therapy services department at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was a communicant of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Prospect.
Judy is survived by a sister, Ann Marie Sulivan of Wolcott; a niece, Judi Ann Sullivan of Wolcott, and several godchildren and beloved cousins.
Judy’s family would like to thank the staff of the Autumn Lake Healthcare Center for the loving, compassionate care that they provided.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. There are no calling hours. The Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect, is in charge of arrangements.
