Friends of Library to celebrate anniversary

BEACON FALLS — The Friends of Beacon Falls Library is commemorating its 25th anniversary on Saturday with a celebration.

Friends of Beacon Falls Library was started in 1991 by seven local women and its current membership is 50 families, a press release stated. The organization supports the Beacon Falls Library in a variety of ways, including sponsoring programs and providing leather bookmarks to the library for all participants of the Passport to CT Libraries program.

The anniversary celebration is at 10 a.m. Saturday at the library, 10 Maple Ave. All residents are invited. For more information or to RSVP, call the library at 203-729-1441.
