PROSPECT — The Prospect Library will feature paintings and sculptures by Prospect resident Jan Lyon during April.

Lyon’s oil paintings and sculptures reflect a deep love of nature and the native people who lived close to the land, a press release stated.

“When I think of art, I think of nature, the greatest living artist. She displays her grandeur in full color, feeding the eye and the soul. Opening all our senses, she nurtures our spirit, celebrates our past and encourages our every emotion. It is this connection to the tiniest of wings, the tallest of pines, the ripples on the water and the earth from which we are made that draws me to express through art,” Lyon stated in the press release.

The exhibit can be view at the library, 17 Center St. For more information, call 203-758-3001.
