BEACON FALLS — Project Purple has announced the appointment of four new board members for 2016.
Project Purple is a Beacon Falls-based nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds toward a cure for pancreatic cancer. The new board members are Bryan Lively, Sarah Polio, Andrew Polio and Alan Gardner.
“We are excited to announce the new members to the board. Each of them brings a particular skill set that will allow us to grow and help families battling pancreatic cancer,” founder of Project Purple Dino Verrelli stated in a press release.
Lively is the vice president of sales and customer service at CrowdRise in Royal Oak, Mich.
Gardner, of New York City, practices law at the Law Offices of Alan M. Gardner, Esq.
Sarah and Andrew Polio are West Simsbury residents. Sarah Polio is in her last year at the University of Connecticut Law School. Andrew Polio attends the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
