Libraries around the state will be stamping passports in April.

The Public Libraries Section of the Connecticut Library Association has brought back the Passport to Connecticut Libraries program for a second year. The program, which is based on the CT Wine Trail Passport program, runs throughout April.

Patrons can pick up a passport at a participating library and begin visiting other participating libraries to have their passports stamped. The Beacon Falls Public Library and the Whittemore Library in Naugatuck are participating in the program.

Each participating library will hand out small gifts, such as a bookmark or an eraser, to those taking part in the program. If patrons visit and have their passports stamped by at least five participating libraries they can turn them into a participating library by May 6 in order to be entered into a raffle. Raffle prizes include a $150 Visa gift card for adults and a $100 Visa gift card for children under 18.
