PROSPECT — Police are investigating a burglary at a church on Union City Road.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary alarm at Bethel Baptist Church at 150 Union City Road at about 5:30 a.m. Monday. When officers arrived on the scene, police reported, they found a rear bathroom window broken and a side door open.
An office door inside the church was forced open, police reported, but the pastor of the church told police nothing appeared to be taken.
A canvass of the neighborhood yielded no leads. The burglary remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Troop I in Bethany at 203-393-4200.
