NAUGATUCK — Judith A. Hungerford, 72, wife of the late G.W. “Chip” Hungerford, passed away on Feb. 16, 2016, at home with her family by her side.

Judith was born in Waterbury, on Sept. 6, 1943, a daughter of the late McCllelan “Ray” and Josephine (Annino) Decker. She worked as a machine operator for Risdon Manufacturing and the Homer D. Bronson Company prior to working for SNET as a telephone line installer and maintainer. Judith’s favorite hobby was trap shooting, where she held the title of High Lady, and won numerous trophies because she never missed. She was also an avid bowler.

Besides her parents and husband Chip, Judith was predeceased by her former husband, Ronald J. Kezelevich, and her beloved dog, Penny.

Judith is survived by her precious dog, Peanut; her son, Ronald Kezelevich Sr. of Naugatuck, and his children, Ronald Jr., Marissa, and Nicole Kezelevich; and her great-grandchild, Ronald Kezelevich III; her daughter, Kathy Stowe and her husband Leroy of Beacon Falls. She is also survived by her brother, Vincent Decker and his family, along with many cousins and many very close friends.

Judith’s family would like to thank the hospice nurses and the doctors and nurses of the Xavier unit at St. Mary’s Hospital.
