NAUGATUCK — The Walmart on New Haven Road has reopened following a bomb threat Tuesday morning.

A bomb threat was called into the store at about 11 a.m., police said. Police and firefighters responded to the store at 1100 New Haven Road and the building was evacuated. The store was combed for a bomb and reopened after it was deemed to be safe.

Police are investigating the origin of the threat.
