PROSPECT — Mr. Kirby A. Humphrey, 60, of Prospect, peacefully passed away on Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at Paradigm Health Center in Prospect after a long illness.
Mr. Humphrey was born in Waterbury, on Dec. 20, 1955, the son of the late Frederick and Betsy Humphrey. He was an avid record collector, and loved music, tag sales, playing games and riding his scooter.
Mr. Humphrey is survived by a sister, Lana Coventry of Bangor, Maine; two brothers, Terence Humphrey and his wife, Elaine, of Gilbert, Ariz., and Gary Humphrey of Prospect. Kirby was also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Paul Humphrey.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of Paradigm Health Center and VITAS Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Kirby and his family.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect, is in care of arrangements. Casual dress calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m.
