NAUGATUCK — Christina M. (Pavlinsky) DuMoulin, 53, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 30, 2015 at her residence. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph DuMoulin in 2002.

She was born Oct. 8, 1961 in Danbury daughter of Marcella (Kasarda) and the late Walter Pavlinsky Jr.

Christina’s pride and joy was being a full-time caregiver for her daughter, Cassandra DuMoulin.

Besides her loving mother, daughter and mother-in-law, Tonie Maroun, Mrs. DuMoulin is survived by two brothers, Walter and his wife, Roberta Pavlinsky, of Waterbury, and Robert and his wife, Connie Pavlinsky, of Oxford, and two sisters, Marcella and her husband, David Davis, of Bethel, and Joan Pavlinsky and her husband, Edward Stempel, of Goshen; her faithful dog, Shadow and sweet kitty, Cookie.

A service for Christina will be held 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St., Naugatuck. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held from 4 p.m. until the service starts at the funeral home.

Donations may be made to Hope for the Butterflies, a memorial fund to help benefit Cassandra’s ongoing care.
