To the editor,
The time I’ve traveled to New York, I’ve seen piles of sleepers at the side of the tracks plus miles and miles of railway tracks. If Metro-North wanted to they have all the stuff there, just add railway crews or people who are unemployed.
We don’t have to compete with other countries, such as China. Just make the local commuter happy. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out, and look at the money you could save. Think about it, seriously.
