Chamber to host debate

NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual mayoral debate luncheon Oct. 16.

Democrat N. Warren “Pete” Hess III and Republican Tamath Rossi are vying for the mayor’s seat in the Nov. 3 election.

The debate is from 12 to 2 p.m. at The Crystal Room, 98 School St. The moderator will be Donald McPartland, partner with Secor, Cassidy & McPartland.

  1. So, in order to take an interest in the mayoral debate in town we have to do the following: 1) Take the day off from work 2) Pay to become an informed voter. We have schools that could hold the voters – why can’t we have a public debate in the evening? One that VOTERS can submit questions for and one that VOTERS can attend and not have to pay for.
