NAUGATUCK — The deadline to file for additional disability, blind and veteran’s exemptions is Oct. 1.
Anyone already receiving a regular disability, blind or veterans exemption may qualify for the additional exemption based on an income guideline. All income is based on earnings for 2014. A single person’s income can’t have exceeded $34,600 and a married couple’s income can’t have exceeded $42,200. Proof of income must be presented.
