To the editor,
I would like to send out my thanks to all the wonderful and generous people who recently donated school supplies to our needy families with children in Beacon Falls. It amazes me how this small community comes together to help each other in times of need.
A special thanks to The Rotary Club, The Lions Club, Rick Dunne of the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments, the residents from Chatfield Farms and Pond Spring Village, United Daycare, the members of Beacon Hose Co. #1 fire department and ambulance, local business owners, our seniors and all the residents who pitched in. There are no words for the joy you all brought to these kids. You do make a difference.
