The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

AXEL PADILLA-SANTIAGO, 26, of 181 Maybury Circle, Waterbury, was charged July 24 with second-degree harassment.

Police reported on July 24 at approximately 6:50 p.m. Padilla-Santiago was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassing phone call complaint made on April 21, 2014. Police reported Padilla-Santiago contacted the victim several times through text messaging in a harassing way. Padilla-Santiago was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 cash bond.

JESIE ROJAS, 19, of 159 Red Robin Road, Naugatuck, was charged July 24 with breach of peace and second-degree harassment.

Police reported on July 24 at approximately 4 p.m. Rojas was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassment complaint. Police reported Rojas posted an explicit photo of the victim on a social media site. Rojas was given a court date of Aug. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $1,000 surety bond.

ERIC STANGARO, 37, of 363 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged July 24 with evading responsibility motor vehicle.

Police reported on July 24 at approximately 1:31 p.m. Stangaro was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an evading motor vehicle accident reported on May 31, 2015 on New Haven Road. Police reported Stangaro struck the rear end of the victim’s vehicle and left the scene. Stangaro was given a court date of Aug. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

SIOBHAN BRAMAN, 28, of 22a Melbourne Court, Naugatuck, was charged July 24 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 24 at approximately 2:07 p.m. Braman turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Braman was given a court date of Aug. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

JAMES ROVINELLI, 23, of 197 City Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged July 25 with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on July 25 at approximately 4:43 p.m. officers responded to 197 City Hill St. for a domestic disturbance between mother and son. During an argument, police reported, Rovinelli pushed the victim and broke a window. Rovinelli was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

CHAD DAIGLE, 20, of 21 Skytop Drive, Bristol, was charged July 25 with possession of controlled substance and illegal sale of drugs by non-drug-dependent person.

Police reported on July 25 at approximately 8:39 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, Daigle was found to be in possession of 1.74 ounces of marijuana and a metal grinder. Daigle was given a court date of Aug. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

RUTH PINTO, 36, of 163 High Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged July 25 with driving under the influence, evading responsibility and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on July 25 at approximately 10:19 p.m. Pinto struck a parked vehicle on Spring Street and continued to drive from the scene. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Pinto was operating under the influence of alcohol. There were two juveniles located in the Pinto’s vehicle at the time of the incident, police reported. Pinto was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

LAWRENCE CARDINAL, 53, of 36 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged July 26 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 26 at approximately 12:43 p.m. officers responded to 36 Carroll St. 2nd floor for a domestic disturbance between brother and sister. During an argument, police reported, Cardinal threw items and food in the residence. Cardinal was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JONATHAN WALLACE, 41, of 46 Pleasant View St., Naugatuck, was charged July 27 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 27 at approximately 3:37 p.m. officers responded to 46 Pleasant View St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Wallace threw the victim’s purse into the driveway and damaged a window screen. Wallace was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.
