NAUGATUCK — Mr. Kenneth Alan Glovinski, 67, of Naugatuck died Thursday, June 25, 2015 at The Kent Specialty Care Center in Kent. He was the husband of Linda Ann (Zabrocky) Glovinski.

Mr. Glovinski was born July 3, 1947 in Bridgeport, a son of the late Joseph Michael and Eleanor Helen (Ofcharski) Glovinski. He proudly served in the U.S. Army with the Military Police during the Vietnam War and also served in the Secret Service. Prior to his retirement Mr. Glovinsky was employed with Sikorsky Aircraft for 30 years.

His favorite sports teams were the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He also enjoyed visiting the casino, going to the theater and dining out. He was a parishioner of St. Vincent Ferrer Church.

Besides his wife, Mr. Glovinski is survived by sons, Joseph S. Glovinski and Peter Glovinski; a brother, Robert Glovinski and his wife, Nancy, of Stratford and their children, Michael, Julie and Kristen and sister-in-law, Bonnie Zabrocky of Seymour.

A funeral mass for Mr. Glovinski will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m.
