NAUGATUCK — Dawn Marie (Gillotti) Handrinos, 45, of Naugatuck entered into rest suddenly on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at her home. Dawn was born on Dec. 18, 1969 in Waterbury, daughter of Irene (Hennessey) Gillotti and the late Robert Gillotti, Jr.
After growing up in Southbury, Dawn resided in Waterbury for most of her life and moved to Naugatuck three years ago. Dawn was a “social butterfly,” she loved music and dancing, and getting together with friends and family.
In addition to her mother, Irene Gillotti of Naugatuck, Dawn is survived by her beloved sons, Christopher Gillotti of Cheshire and Devon Handrinos of Waterbury; loving sister, Tina Marie Rudorf and her husband, Glenn, of Watertown. She leaves her aunts and uncles, Thomas and Timothy Gillotti, both of Southbury, James and Sandy Hennessey of California, Marge and Richard Wargo of Southbury, George and Karen Hennessey of Southbury, Robert Hennessey of California, and Rita and Harold Smith of Middlebury; and several cousins.
A Memorial Service will be planned at the convenience of her family and announced at a later date. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck has been entrusted with Dawn’s arrangements.
