To the editor,
I had the pleasure of attending the Breakfast for Dinner with Disney Princesses and Princes with my three daughters at Woodland High School on Friday, June 5. This special event was held as a fundraiser for the sophomore class.
I commend the students who participated and organized this unique experience for our local towns. Every student I encountered that evening, including ticket collectors, photographers, hostesses, waiters, and of course the princes and princesses were friendly, kind, polite and helpful. Although it seemed the extremely large crowd presented a challenge for these young adults, I felt they handled the long lines with grace and did a phenomenal job communicating with each other to make the families attending happy.
I also want to acknowledge the teachers who organized the event. They worked tirelessly, all evening, long after the doors were supposed to close to make this event successful for their students. Kudos to all of you, you represented Region 16 well.
