Registration to open for summer programs

NAUGATUCK — Registration for Park and Recreation summer programs begins Monday.

The department offers multiple summer camps and a variety of programs, including horseback riding, hoops and sports camps, Legos/robotics camps, arts and crafts classes, and cooking classes.

Registration for all programs is on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited. Registration must be done in person at the Public Works office, 246 Rubber Ave., from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. No phone registrations will be accepted. Registration is open until June 19. Payment is expected at registration in the form of cash or a check. A birth certificate must be provided for a child in his or her first year attending a program.
