JAMES BENNETT, 62, of 4955 E. Brewington Road, Gable, S.C., was charged May 4 with credit card theft by transfer and second-degree identity theft.
Police reported May 4 at approximately 12:53 p.m. Bennett turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Bennett used the victim’s identity to receive an additional credit card in his name, police reported. Bennett was given a court date of May 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
JONATHAN GOUGH, 25, of 17 Cadbury Place, Naugatuck, was charged May 5 with driving under the influence.
Police reported May 5 at approximately 5:21 p.m. Gough was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a motor vehicle accident reported on March 18, 2015 on May Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Gough was operating under the influence of alcohol. Gough was given a court date of May 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $450 cash bond.
BRENDAN BURNS, 27, of 2 Fawn Hollow Drive, was charged May 5 with threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree stalking, loitering on school grounds, two counts of breach of peace and two counts of evading responsibility. He was additionally charged May 8 with breach of peace.

MICHAEL CAREY, 23, of 141 Sheffield Ave., New Haven, was charged May 5 with sixth-degree larceny and criminal attempt at sixth-degree larceny.
Police reported May 5 at approximately 10:23 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Carey stole $196.83 worth of merchandise. When asset protection confronted Carey as he was walking out of the store, police reported, he left the carriage full of merchandise and ran from the store. Officers located Carey on a nearby road. Carey was given a court date of May 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
TYSHON SHIELDS, 23, of 84 Spring St., Meriden, was charged May 7 with disobeying the signal of an officer.
Police reported May 7 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Shields was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a motor vehicle investigation on Feb. 18, 2015. When the officer initiated a motor vehicle stop Shields drove away from the officer, police reported. Shields was given a court date of May 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $25,000 surety bond.
VALBONA BIZATI, 21, of 143 Graham Ridge, Naugatuck, was charged May 7 with conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit third-degree assault and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny.
Police reported May 7 at approximately 7:34 p.m. Bizati turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on April 20, 2015. Police reported Bizati arranged to meet the victim, who is a former boyfriend. While they were meeting three males, known to Bizati, arrived and assaulted the victim, police reported. After the assault one of the males stole the victim’s phone, police reported. Bizati was given a court date of May 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.
SEAN LUMAN, 34, of 94 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged May 7 with violation of probation.
Police reported May 7 at approximately 11:18 a.m. Luman was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Luman was given a court date of May 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.
HERIBERTO RIVERA, 44, of 95 Fern St., Naugatuck, was charged May 7 with violation of probation.
Police reported May 7 at approximately 4:57 p.m. Rivera was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Rivera was given a court date of May 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 cash bond.
JASON NELSON, 31, of 564 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 8 with violation of probation.

STEVEN BOUTOT, 32, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 8 with breach of peace.
Police reported May 8 at approximately 7:59 p.m. officers responded to 30 Pond St. for a domestic disturbance between grandmother and grandson. Police reported Boutot arrived at the victim’s home and made a threatening statement regarding another family member. Boutot was given a court date of May 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
JOHNNY CONCEPCION, 38, of 25 Hillside Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 9 with third-degree assault, first-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.
Police reported May 9 at approximately 12:09 a.m. officers responded to 25 Hillside Ave. 2nd floor for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Concepcion slapped the victim and restrained her so she could not leave the residence. When the victim attempted to call the police Concepcion took her phone and broke it, police reported. Concepcion was given a court date of May 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.
EDWARD DAJNEROWICZ, 65, of 29 Phyllis Drive, Naugatuck, was charged May 9 with disorderly conduct.
Police reported May 9 at approximately 3:16 p.m. officers responded to 29 Phyllis Drive for a domestic disturbance between mother and son. Police reported Dajnerowicz was standing in the driveway yelling obscenities at the victim, which caused a disturbance to the neighbors. Dajnerowicz was given a court date of May 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
JOSEPH CHOBIAN JR., 19, of 486 Roosevelt Drive, Oxford, was charged May 9 with driving under the influence.
Police reported May 9 at approximately 11:39 p.m. officers responded to Rubber Avenue for an evading motor vehicle accident. Police reported Chobian struck the victim’s vehicle while backing up in a parking lot of 933 Rubber Ave. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Chobian was operating under the influence of alcohol. Chobian was held on a $500 surety bond.
