Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Youre of Naugatuck announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Nicole Youre to Lee Giordano, son of Mr. Calogero Giordano of Ansonia and Ms. Prudence Edgar of Cromwell.
An Oct. 9, 2015 wedding is planned.
Miss Youre is the granddaughter of the late Fernando Padua of Waterbury, the late Marcella Correll of Naugatuck, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Youre of Leesburg, Fla.
Mr. Giordano is the grandson of Giuseppina Giordano of Ansonia, the late Giuseppe Giordano of Ansonia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Edgar of Rocky Hill.
Miss Youre graduated from Holy Cross High School in Waterbury, from the University of Connecticut in Storrs with a degree in psychology, and from the University of Hartford with a doctorate in clinical psychology.
She is a post doctoral resident for the Veterans Health Administration in West Haven.
Mr. Giordano graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Trumbull and from the University of Connecticut in Storrs with a degree in economics.
He is a unit supervisor for Bankers Life in Milford.
