The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

BRUNO AMORIM, 23, of 165 Traverse St., Waterbury, was charged April 3 with third-degree identity theft, sixth-degree larceny and criminal attempt at sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 3 at approximately 2:53 p.m. Amorim was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a credit card fraud complaint made on Jan. 22, 2015. Police reported Amorim, who was an acquaintance, made an unauthorized transaction to the victim’s credit card in the amount of $165. Amorim was given a court date of April 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 court-set surety bond.

ADRIAN WALENCIEJ, 18, of 3 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged April 3 with possession of controlled substance, non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school, or day care, illegal sale of controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on April 3 at approximately 12:27 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Walenciej was in possession of 1.27 ounces of marijuana, a digital scale and packaging materials. Walenciej was given a court date of April 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,500 surety bond.

DANIEL BRYANT, 42, of 17 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged April 4 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 4 at approximately 8:37 p.m. officers responded to 17 Anderson St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Bryant threw food at the victim. Bryant was given a court date of April 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

JOSEPH CHOBIAN, 19, of 486 Roosevelt Drive, Oxford, was charged April 4 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 4 at approximately 9:45 p.m. officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Mallane Lane. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Chobian was operating under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Chobian was given a court date of April 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

JUSTIN BYERS, 20, of 203 Alder St., Waterbury, was charged April 5 with second-degree harassment.

Police reported on April 5 at approximately 4:32 p.m. Byers was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassing phone call complaint made on March 22, 2015. Police reported Byers continuously called and texted the victim when he was advised not too. Byers was given a court date of April 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

NICHOLAS ANDREWS, 34, of 165 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged April 5 with violation of probation.

Police reported on April 5 at approximately 1:42 a.m. Andrews was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Andrews was given a court date of April 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.

CARAMIA TORELLO, 20, of 35 Hill St., Naugatuck, was charged April 6 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 7:53 a.m. Torello turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Torello was given a court date of April 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $400 cash only bond.

VICTOR PADILLA, 23, of 14 Tolles Square, Naugatuck, was charged April 6 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 11:34 a.m. Padilla turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Padilla was given a court date of April 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $259 cash bond.

LORRAINE MASTERSON, 65, of 55 Lantern Park Drive, Naugatuck, was charged April 6 with first-degree criminal trespass and threatening.

Police reported on April 6 an officer responded to 43 Patricia Lane for an unwanted party, who was known to the victim. Police reported Masterson entered the victim’s home without permission and threatened to harm the victim. Masterson was given a court date of April 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

RUBEN BERGER, 22, of 200 Yale St., Waterbury, was charged April 6 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 6 at approximately 2:57 p.m. officers responded to 668 New Haven Road for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Berger was in the home in violation of an active protective order. Berger was given a court date of April 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

ROGER HOUSEKNECHT, 59, of 18 Barnum Court, Naugatuck, was charged April 6 with first-degree criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 6 officers responded to 18 Barnum Court for an assault. Police reported an argument began when the victim attempted to walk past Houseknecht on the staircase of the multifamily home. Houseknecht followed the victim to his apartment, where he punched and pushed the victim to the floor, police reported. Houseknecht was given a court date of April 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

ROBERTO PEREIRA, 30, of 515 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged April 7 with threatening, second-degree harassment, disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on April 7 at approximately 9:27 p.m. officer responded to 515 North Main St. 3rd floor for a harassing phone call complaint. Police reported Pereira contacted the victim by phone and threatened to harm her. When the officer made contact with Pereira, police reported, he ran from the officers. He was located in the woods of an adjacent street, police reported. Pereira was given a court date of April 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 surety bond.
