PROSPECT — Esther Aleita “Lee” Doyle, 93, of Prospect, formerly of Waterbury and Hinsdale, Mass. passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2015. She was the loving wife of the late Sgt. Maj. Vincent Francis Doyle.

Mrs. Doyle was born on March 30, 1921 in Delta, Pa. a daughter to the late Thomas and Annie (Beale) Jones. She was raised in Cardiff, Md. and worked at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds during World War ll. She was retired after working at Queens Kitchen Bakery for many years and was a member of the Mill Plain Union Church in Waterbury.

Mrs. Doyle is survived by her sons, Thomas Vincent Doyle and his wife Kathy of Prospect and Kevin Michael Doyle of Pittsfield, Mass.; her grandchildren, Jonathan Doyle and his wife Tina and Tara Feeney and her husband Dennis, and three great-grandchildren, Audrey Feeney, Jack Feeney and Jonathan “Jonny” Doyle, Jr.

Mrs. Doyle was predeceased by her daughter, Colleen Sexton; her bothers, James Jones, Sam Jones, Walter Jones and Norman Jones, and her sister, Estella Morningstar and a grandson, Brian Gedansky.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 14 at 10 a.m. at the Mill Plain Union Church, 242 Southmayd Road, Waterbury. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. There are no calling hours. The Prospect Memorial Funeral Home, 72 Waterbury Road, Prospect is in charge of arrangements.
