The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

CHRISTOPHER MATOS, 38, of 87 High St., Naugatuck, was charged March 13 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on March 13 officers responded to a violation of a protective order at 66 Nancy Lane. Matos was found in the home which was in violation of a valid order, police reported. Matos was given a court date of March 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 surety bond.

DEBORAH ANN O’DONNELL, 41, of 155 Evening Star Drive, Naugatuck, was charged March 13 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 13 at approximately 9:30 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Prospect Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined O’Donnell was operating under the influence of alcohol. O’Donnell was given a court date of March 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ANGELA RUGGERIO-RUBANO, 36, of 920 Mountain Road, Cheshire, was charged March 14 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 14 at approximately 12:15 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8 North. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Ruggerio-Rubano was operating under the influence of alcohol. Ruggerio-Rubano was given a court date of March 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and was released on a $500 non-surety bond.

GARY REOLA, 45, of 26 Manchester Heights, Winsted, was charged March 14 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 14 at approximately 12:27 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Prospect Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Reola was operating under influence of alcohol. Reola was given a court date of March 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $50.00 non-surety bond.

HEATHER WASHINGTON, 32, of 57 Lewis Circle, Naugatuck, was charged March 14 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 14 at approximately 3 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Washington was operating under the influence of alcohol. Washington
was given a court date of March 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

CAROL GAGNER, 48, of 173 Osborn Road, Naugatuck, was charged March 14 with second-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on March 14 at approximately 1:50 p.m. officers responded to 173 Osborn Road for a domestic disturbance between mother and son. During an argument, police reported, Gagner cut the victim with a kitchen knife. The victim suffered a laceration in the area of his right wrist and was treated by EMS on scene, police reported. Gagner was given a court date of March 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

CAITLIN TAYLOR, 23, of 90 Thistle Down Lane, Naugatuck, was charged March 14 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 14 at approximately 10:13 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Taylor was operating under the influence of alcohol. Taylor was given a court date of March 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ROBERT NAPPI, 52, of 32 Stone Wall Lane, Waterbury, was charged March 14 with possession of controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on March 14 at approximately 11:32 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Porter Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, Nappi was found to be in possession of prescription medication and drug paraphernalia. Nappi was given a court date of March 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

FRANK SKOJEC, 47, of 53 Carriage Drive, Naugatuck, was charged March 15 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 15 at approximately 1:58 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Skojec was operating under the influence of alcohol. Skojec was given a court date of March 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MICHAEL WORDEN, 29, of 136 National Ave., Waterbury, was charged March 15 with use of motor vehicle without permission, conspiracy at use of motor vehicle without permission and illegal operation of motor vehicle under suspension.

Police reported on March 15 at approximately 8:29 a.m. Worden was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a stolen motor vehicle complaint made on Feb. 9. Police reported Worden used the victim’s vehicle without permission, who was an acquaintance. Worden was given a court date of March 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non surety bond.

JOHN NICHOLAS DONNANGOLO, 18, of 12 Scott Road, Prospect, was charged March 15 with possession of controlled substance and possession of controlled substance near a school.

Police reported on March 15 at approximately 5:02 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Bridge Street. During the investigation, police reported, Donnangolo was found to be in possession of 1.71 ounces of marijuana and a metal grinder. Donnangolo was given a court date of March 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

ERIC S. GHUARDIANI, 37, of 103 Warren Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 16 with driving under the influence and carrying a firearm while under the influence.

Police reported on March 16 at approximately 12:12 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Guardiani was operating under the influence of alcohol. Guardiani was found to be in possession of a handgun while being intoxicated, police reported. Guardiani was given a court date of March 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

HEATHER L. BICKLEY, 38, of 249 Circle Drive, Stratford, was charged March 16 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 16 at approximately 2:02 a.m. an officer responded to a suspicious vehicle at the Cross Point Plaza on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Bickley was operating under the influence of alcohol. Bickley was given a court date of March 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

TIMOTHY CLARK, 39, of 288 High St., Naugatuck, was charged March 16 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 16 at approximately 10:25 a.m. Clark was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Clark was given a court date of March 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $2,500 bond.

STANLEY SMITH SR., 66, of 111 Mallane Lane, Naugatuck, was charged March 16 with disorderedly conduct.

Police reported on March 16 at approximately 11:10 p.m. an officer investigated a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Smith threw items in the home. Smith was given a court date of March 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
