The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

EVERTON MATTHIE, 39, of 143 Jennings Road, Fairfield, was charged with violation of protective order and second-degree harassment.

Police reported Matthie turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order which was reported on Jan. 28, 2015. Police reported Matthie threatened the victim during a phone conversation. Matthie was given a court date of Feb. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

RICHARD SMITH, 70, of 10 Vidich Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 12 with evading responsibility motor vehicle and failure to drive in proper lane.

Police reported on Feb. 12 at approximately 12:25 a.m. officers responded to North Church Street for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Smith struck a snow embankment and left his vehicle on scene. Smith left the scene but was later found, police reported. Smith was given a court date of Feb. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

FRANCES MCCLINTICK, 46, of 75 Goodyear Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 13 with third-degree assault, third-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 13 at approximately 1:40 p.m. officers responded to 75 Goodyear Ave. for a domestic disturbance between mother and son. During an argument, police reported, McClintick punched her son and grabbed him by his neck. McClintick was given a court date of Feb. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

THOMAS HUBBELL, 48, of 75 Goodyear Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 13 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Feb. 13 at approximately 1:40 p.m. officers responded to 75 Goodyear Ave. for a domestic disturbance. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hubbell was in the victim’s home in violation of a protective order. Hubbell was given a court date of Feb. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $15,000 surety bond.

THOMAS CRAWFORD, 24, of 571 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 13 with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.

Police reported on Feb. 13 at approximately 1:40 p.m. officers responded to 75 Goodyear Ave. for a domestic disturbance between mother and son. During an argument, police reported, Crawford took a phone from his mother preventing her from calling for help. Crawford was given a court date of Feb. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

NICHOLAS JOHN DONNANGOLO, 18, of 12 Scott Road, Prospect, was charged Feb. 13 with possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Feb. 13 at approximately 9:39 p.m. an officer responded to a suspicious vehicle on Platts Mill Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Donnangolo was found to be in possession of 2.19 ounces of marijuana, a scale and metal grinder. Donnangolo was given a court date of Feb. 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

KYLE DOJNIA, 24, of 32 Wilson St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 14 with first-degree burglary, disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief and interfering with an emergency call.

Police reported on Feb. 14 Dojnia was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance that occurred on Jan. 31, 2015 between family members. Police reported Dojnia entered a family member’s home without permission by causing damage to a door. During an argument, police reported, Dojnia took a phone from the victim who was attempting to call the police. Dojnia was given a court date of Feb. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

JAYQUAN HUBERT, 21, of 268 Perkins Ave., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 14 with third-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 14 an officer responded to Union City Road for a stolen motor vehicle. Police reported Hubert took possession of a stolen vehicle out of Waterbury from a friend. Hubert was given a court date of Feb. 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

KEENAN NICHOLS, 22, of 101 Chestnut St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 14 with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Feb. 14 at approximately 6:11 p.m. officers responded to 101 Chestnut St. for a domestic disturbance between mother and son. During an argument, police reported, Nichols punched holes in walls and broke a door. Police reported Nichols ran from the officer but was found a short time later. Nichols was given a court date of Feb. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

JAMES HALL, 49, of 15 Southview St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 14 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 14 at approximately 11:01 p.m. officers responded to 15 Southview St. for a domestic disturbance between father and daughter. During an argument, police reported, Hall slapped the victim. Police reported Hall ran from the officer but was found a short time later. Hall was given a court date of Feb. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

CRAIG LAROSE, 25, of 10 Rolling Hills Drive, Oxford, was charged Feb. 15 with interfering with an officer, sixth-degree larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Feb. 15 at approximately 12:52 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Larose stole a BB gun worth $43. While being arrested Larose tensed up and resisted being handcuffed, police reported. Larose also found to be in possession of a syringe, police reported. Larose was given a court date of Feb. 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

RUSSELL MESERVEY, 29, of 205 South Leonard St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 15 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Feb. 15 at approximately 3:53 p.m. an officer was dispatched to 129 Lewis St. Apt. 34 for a violation of a protective order. Police reported Meservey contacted the victim via text messaging. Meservey was given a court date of Feb. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.
