NAUGATUCK — The assessor’s office is accepting applications for additional veteran, blind and disability exemptions through Oct. 1.
Anyone already receiving a regular disability, blind or veteran’s exemption may qualify for an additional exemption based on the state’s income guidelines. Income can’t exceed $34,600 for a single person and $42,200 for married couple. Proof of income must be presented at time of application.
