NAUGATUCK — Students who drive to Naugatuck High School will be able to do so for cheaper next school year.

The Board of Education voted last week in favor of lowering the parking fee at the high school to $100 a year. The current fee is $200 a year.

The parking lot has been reduced in size for the last two years due to the ongoing renovation work at the high school. Superintendent of School Sharon Locke said this change will make it more feasible for students to be able to park at the school as more portions of the parking lot come back online.
