WATERBURY — Mary J. (Chmielnicki) Siematkoski, 89, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at the Village Green of Waterbury. She was widow of Joseph Siemiatkoski.
Mrs. Siemiatkoski was born in Westfield, Mass. on April 3, 1925, daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Mikulak) Chmielnicki. She was a longtime resident of Waterbury, and had worked for Mattatuck Manufacturing as well as U.S. Time. She was a communicant of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
Mary is survived by her children, Joseph Siematkoski of Waterbury, Robert Siematkoski of Palatka, Fla., Ronald Basil of Immokalee, Fla. and Theresa Jaffarian of Titusville, Fla.; her brother, Edward Chmielnicki and his wife Janet of Wolcott; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, Peter and Stanley.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main St., Waterbury, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
