NAUGATUCK — Madeline R. Lawlor, 94, of Naugatuck, died peacefully, Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at Beacon Brook Health Center.
Madeline was born Dec. 17, 1920 in Naugatuck, a daughter of the late John A. and Mary (Whitelaw) Lawlor and had lived in Naugatuck all of her life. Madeline worked for many years at Cly-Del Manufacturing Company in Waterbury. She was an accomplished bowler, having been a city and state duck pin bowling champion and she was also a faithful Red Cross blood donor.
Madeline is survived by her brother, Thomas J. Lawlor of Naugatuck, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call Saturday, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave.
