PROSPECT — Town Hall is running low on toys for families in need.

Mayor Robert Chatfield said throughout the year the town collects toys to distribute to children in need during the month of December.

Chatfield said typically more than 200 toys are distributed each year. This year, however, the town has found itself running out of toys.

Chatfield requested help from residents to help bolster the Town Hall’s ability to help those in need this Christmas season.

“If somebody is able to send $5 or whatever they can afford to Town of Prospect Toy Fund, 36 Center St., we can use it to purchase toys,” Chatfield said.

People can also donate unopened, unwrapped toys to the Town Hall as well, Chatfield said.
