The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

ANIELLO LIGUORI, 51, of 732 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 17 with violation of protective order and violation of probation.

Police reported on Dec. 17 at approximately 6:59 p.m. Liguori was arrested on an active arrest warrant. While serving the warrant it was determined Liguori was in the residence in violation of an active protective order, police reported. Liguori was given a court date of Dec. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a surety bond.

GREGORY VIA, 45, of 430 Field St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 19 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Dec. 19 at approximately 1:15 a.m. Via turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Via was given a court date of Dec. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $25,000 surety bond.

JOSE RIBEIRO, 25, of 90 Trowbridge Place, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 19 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 19 officers responded to 90 Throwbridge Place for a landlord-tenant dispute. During an argument, police reported, Ribeiro was pushed and threw a flashlight at the other man, which struck him in the abdomen. Ribeiro was given a court date of Dec. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

STEPHEN WOERMER, 26, of 90 Trowbridge Place, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 19 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 19 officers responded to 90 Throwbridge Place for a landlord-tenant dispute. During an argument, police reported, Woermer pushed another man, who threw a flashlight at Woermer, which struck him in the abdomen. Woermer was given a court date of Dec. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

AZIZ DAR, 23, of 23 Toll Gate Road, Bethany, was charged Dec. 20 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 20 at approximately 2:03 a.m. officers responded to 22 Hill Street for a suspicious motor vehicle complaint. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Dar was operating under the influence of alcohol. Dar was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

SAUL FREED, 41, of 40 Evening Star Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 20 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 20 at approximately 11:54 a.m. officers responded to 40 Evening Star Drive for a domestic disturbance between sister and brother. During an argument, police reported, both parties began to wrestle with each other causing them to fall to the floor. Freed was given a court date of Dec. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

ELIZABTH A. FREED, 32, of 40 Evening Star Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 20 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 20 at approximately 11:54 a.m. officers responded to 40 Evening Star Drive for a domestic disturbance between sister and brother. During an argument, police reported, both parties began to wrestle with each other causing them to fall to the floor. Freed was given a court date of Dec. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

HEIDI BOUTOT, 30, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 21 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 10:45 p.m. officers responded to 151 Andrew Avenue unit 216 for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, her husband attempted to push Boutot out of the residence. During this time, her husbands’ face was scratched by Boutot. Boutot was given a court date of Dec. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

KEVIN J. BOUTOT, 46, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 21 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 21 at approximately 10:45 p.m. officers responded to 151 Andrew Avenue unit 216 for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Boutot attempted to push his wife out of the residence. During this time, police reported, Boutot’s face was scratched by his wife. Boutot was given a court date of Dec. 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

THOMAS SWENDSEN, 30, of 35 Maple St., Seymour, was charged Dec. 22 with driving under the influence and failure to keep right.

Police reported on Dec. 22 at approximately 2:15 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Salem Bridge. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Swendsen was operating under the influence of alcohol. Swendsen was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
